Welcome to the site of the International Colloquium on Control of Detonation Processes!

The Colloquium will be held in Moscow, Russia, July 4–7, 2000.

The Colloquium is co-sponsored by the US Office of Naval Research (ONR), ONR International Field Office — Europe, European Research Office of the US Army and Scientific Council on Combustion and Explosion of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The objective of the Colloquium is to provide a forum to disseminate to the scientific community the international state-of-the-art, and recent advancements made in controlling detonation initiation, propagation and deflagration-to-detonation transition (DDT) phenomena in gaseous and heterogeneous reactive media through experimental and computational studies, and to determine the avenues of research that is needed in the future to design advanced engines for propulsion and stationary power systems.

The primary focus of the Colloquium will be to transfer the scientific accomplishments to commercial, industrial, and other applications of interest.
