The
Colloquium will be held in Moscow, Russia, July
2–5, 2002.
The
Colloquium is sponsored by the US Office of Naval Research (ONR),
ONR International Field Office Europe, and the Scientific Council
on Combustion and Explosion of the Presidium of the Russian
Academy of Sciences.
The
objective of the Colloquium is to provide a forum to disseminate
to the scientific community the world-wide state-of-the-art,
and advancements made in experimental and computational studies
of confined detonations in gaseous and heterogeneous reactive
media, and to determine the avenues of research that is needed
to design pulsed detonation engines for propulsion and stationary
power systems.
The
primary focus of the Colloquium will be to transfer the scientific
accomplishments to various applications of interest.
